Here at Ailytics, we're building AI solutions to envision a safer world. By combining computer vision and predictive analytics, we enable organizations to proactively identify risks, optimize processes, and ultimately save lives. Our platforms are currently deployed all over the world, covering more than 500 million square meters!
We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to build and own our mobile applications. Our mobile app is how customers receive safety alerts and act on them wherever they are, usually on a worksite rather than at a desk, which makes speed, clarity and reliability matter more than they would in a typical app.
This is a hands-on build role in a lean team, so you will have unusually direct influence over the app: what gets built, how it behaves, and how good it feels to use. You will work closely with our Product Designer, backend engineers, Product Managers and CTO.
Two things matter to us beyond core Flutter skill. You should be genuinely comfortable in Figma, able to work from design files independently and flag when something will not work well on mobile. And we expect AI tooling to be a normal part of how you work, not as an occasional experiment.
This is a fully remote role. We are open to candidates within 2.5 hours of Singapore's time zone.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build and ship features in Flutter, covering UI, application logic and state management, with real ownership of quality.
- Turn designs into production-ready UI. Translate Figma designs into polished, responsive interfaces that hold up across devices and screen sizes.
- Work fluently in Figma. Navigate design files confidently, use and contribute to the design system, and handle the states and edge cases designs do not always cover: loading, empty, error, offline.
- Integrate with our backend. Connect the app to APIs and real-time data, and keep it fast and responsive under real network conditions.
- Own app quality: performance, stability, crash-free rates and responsiveness, including on the mid-range devices our customers actually use in the field.
- Manage releases. Ship to the App Store and Play Store, handle versioning and rollout, and keep the release process smooth.
- Use AI to move faster. Apply AI-assisted development tools to writing, reviewing, testing and documenting code as part of your day-to-day workflow.
- Iterate on real feedback. Use user feedback and usage data to refine the app and ship improvements quickly, in short cycles.
- Collaborate closely with our Product Designer, backend engineers, Product Managers and CTO.
Our Ideal Requirements
- 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, with hands-on Flutter and live apps you have shipped in a professional setting.
- Strong Dart skills and solid command of state management (Riverpod, Bloc, Provider or similar), with a clear rationale for the approaches you have chosen.
- Genuinely comfortable in Figma. This is a must-have. You should be able to work from design files independently and know your way around components, variants and design systems.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and mobile usability patterns, including platform conventions on both iOS and Android.
- Confident integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data, caching and error states properly.
- Experience releasing to the App Store and Play Store, including the practical parts: signing, review and staged rollout.
- Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar) and an instinct for automating repetitive work.
- Solid debugging and performance instincts. You can find out why something is slow or janky rather than guessing.
- Comfortable in fast, iterative cycles in a lean startup environment, with high ownership and minimal supervision.
Why Work At Ailytics?
- Lasting impact at the intersection of AI and safety. Our app is used daily by enterprise customers across Asia and beyond, in environments where a missed alert genuinely matters.
- We're a startup still in its early stages, so there's real room to shape both the product and the way we build it.
- You own the mobile app. In a lean team, the decisions you make about architecture, performance and feel are the ones that ship, with no committee in between.
- We value strong standards, high transparency, and low egos. Let us know if this sounds like you.
