We are looking for a Product Designer to own product design at Ailytics end to end. You will drive design across our web platform and mobile apps, not executing someone else's direction but setting it, in close partnership with our Product Lead, Engineering teams and CTO.
Our product is demanding to design for in a specific way. Safety and operations teams live in our dashboards for hours a day, moving between live video, incident review and analytics. That surface is large and still growing, running to hundreds of Figma screens across web and mobile, and keeping it coherent, learnable and consistent as it scales is the core of this job.
We also expect you to work fast. We want a designer who uses Figma alongside modern AI tooling to get from a rough problem to a high-fidelity, clickable prototype in days rather than weeks, so we can validate ideas with real users before engineering commits to building them.
This is a fully remote role. We are open to candidates within 2.5 hours of Singapore's time zone.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and drive product design end to end. Own it from problem framing and user flows through to polished, shipped UI across web and mobile.
- Deliver high-fidelity prototypes and working wireframes. Use Figma together with AI tools (Claude Code, Claude Design and similar) to produce prototypes that are genuinely interactive and testable, not static mockups.
- Design across both web and mobile. Understand where the patterns diverge, and design natively for each rather than stretching one to fit the other.
- Own and scale our design system. Maintain consistency across hundreds of screens through well-built components, variants, tokens, naming conventions and disciplined file hygiene, so the system stays usable as it grows.
- Create and iterate on user flows, wireframes, mockups and high-fidelity designs, refining based on feedback, product data and user insight.
- Drive design revamps and ongoing product improvements, and make the case for them to leadership with clear reasoning.
- Partner closely with Engineering. Ensure what you design is practical to implement, aligns with technical constraints, and survives the handoff intact.
- Use AI to compound your own output, from research synthesis and documentation to prototyping and design QA.
Our Ideal Requirements
- An existing UI/UX portfolio is a must-have. We will not consider applicants without one, and we care most about seeing your reasoning, not just the final screens.
- Minimum 3 years of product design experience, with a big bonus for time spent in a lean or start-up team.
- Deep, hands-on Figma expertise: components, variants, auto layout, tokens and prototyping. You should be genuinely fluent, not merely functional.
- Proven experience designing for both web and mobile applications, ideally within the same product family.
- Comfortable operating at scale. You have worked across hundreds of screens and can talk concretely about how you kept a growing product visually and behaviourally consistent.
- Real design system ownership. Not just consuming a system someone else built, but building, documenting and maintaining one.
- Hands-on with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools (Claude Code, Claude Design, v0.dev, Lovable or similar), and able to use them to move from concept to a working prototype quickly.
- Comfortable being the person who drives design. You can set direction, prioritise, push back on requirements that will not work, and be trusted to own the outcome.
- Strong communication skills. You can explain design decisions to engineers, product and leadership in terms of user and business impact.
