As a Junior Business Development Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in securing business opportunities within heavy industries. You’ll primarily focus on expanding our business in our local and regional markets.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within target heavy industry (construction, manufacturing, etc) sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business strategies with product innovation and customer needs.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to showcase our value proposition.
- Negotiate and close deals to drive profitable growth and establish long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to uncover new opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions.
Our Ideal Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience with B2B enterprise sales, preferably within a startup or tech company; exposure to enterprise sales of security systems or video analytics systems is a plus.
- Good understanding of the heavy industries sector and B2B enterprise customers.
- Proven success in building partnerships and channel management.
- Demonstrates ability to present confidently to large audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.
- A self-driven, fast learner with a clear sense of urgency.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
- A collaborative team player with a low ego who thrives in high-pressure environments.
- Comfortable engaging in social settings and business engagements.
- Possession of a valid Singapore Driving License and/or access to a vehicle is a plus.
