We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on AI Systems Engineer who thrives at the intersection of experimentation and production. This role goes beyond training models; you will design and deploy scalable Large Vision Model (LVM) pipelines, integrate multimodal systems into real-world products, and build intelligent automation tools that improve both customer-facing solutions and internal workflows.
You will work closely with our Computer Vision team and engineering teams to transform advanced AI capabilities into robust, production-grade systems. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who can independently drive initiatives, take ownership of end-to-end systems, and deliver high-impact solutions. This opening is available in Singapore, Hong Kong, or remote for the right candidate.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Large Vision Model (LVM) pipelines for production environments.
- Collaborate closely with the Computer Vision team to translate research and prototypes into deployable systems.
- Develop end-to-end AI solutions including data pipelines, model integration, inference optimization, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Integrate multimodal systems (vision-language models, LLM + CV workflows) into customer-facing AI products.
- Optimize models for deployment using quantization, pruning, ONNX conversion, TensorRT optimization, and edge deployment techniques.
- Architect and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend systems required to serve AI models reliably at scale.
- Build internal AI tools and automation systems to streamline operations, reduce manual processes, and improve cross-team efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive workflows (e.g., annotation processes, quality checks, reporting, internal knowledge workflows).
- Rapidly prototype new ideas while maintaining a strong focus on scalability, maintainability, and production readiness.
- Stay up to date with emerging foundation models, tooling, and infrastructure best practices to continuously elevate our AI stack.
Our Ideal Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production.
- Strong hands-on experience with computer vision models and/or Large Vision Models.
- Experience integrating multimodal systems (vision + language) is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with model optimization and deployment tools including ONNX, TensorRT, quantization, pruning, and model format conversion.
- Experience building scalable ML pipelines and serving infrastructure.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience building internal tools, automation systems, or AI-powered workflow improvements is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership and autonomy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across research, engineering, and product teams.
